Other Sponsored Activity: Funding to help establish the Collaborative News Lab @ Kent State University, a news commons for professional media partners in Northeast Ohio. Student reporters and their university-based mentors will work collaboratively with local editors to produce multi-platform content that covers the arc of the coronavirus pandemic, its effects and aftermath. The News Lab will also help cover other vital local stories that may be neglected because of the overwhelming demands placed on short-staffed professional newsrooms.
