Abstract |
Presents an interview with author Yoshinobu Hakutani. When asked about the connection of American literary naturalism and African- American literature, he refers to the significance of his admiration of Richard Wright and Young Dreiser. He states that the introduction of "American Literary Naturalism: A Reassessment" manifests drastic transformation of American literary naturalism. Further, he cites the relevance of American literary naturalism to Japanese literature. |
