Abstract |
Provided by Ohio State University's Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, one hundred fifty-five wines were entered into the competition from 24 wineries. Six gold, 15 silver and 59 bronze medals were awarded. Official results include a complete list of awarded wines, both by category and medals. Featured in this photo are the winter vines of the Grand River Wine Company, known today as Grand River Cellars. The winery won a gold medal in the 1985 Ohio Wine Competition for its Old Mill Vineyard Lake Erie Claret, a dry red vinifera. |
