A Master Plan is presented that describes building projects for the rest of the decade. Five phases are described with phases 1 and 2 already complete. Phase 3 describes a 65,000 square foot library. A Science Center is planned for phase 4. Phase 5 creates a Communication Center, which would include performing arts, radio and television facilities, social functions, and entertainment. Stark Technical College started offering classes in the fall. Discusses between the president of Stark State, Fred Yenny and Jack Morehart, the KSUSRC director, include sharing KSU Stark's dining, lounge, library, and recreational facilities.
