Research grant: The COVID-19 pandemic is expected to cause psychological distress. During the Spring of 2020 we found high levels of distress among college students, a vulnerable population. However, people are resilient, and distress may be temporary or lasting. Also, we do not know what increases risk or protects against mental health problems from COVID-19. This research will provide a 6-month follow-up of mental health outcomes, and will identify protective and risk factors for depression and anxiety. https://www.kent.edu/brainhealth/covid-pilot-grant-awardees
